first simplify the algebra problems. It is important to perform
order of operations in the right order.
For example, if you are trying to simplify
the expression:
3 + 4 x 7 +2
If there is no order of operation, then one person
might perform the additions first then multiply (3+4) with
(7+2) giving 7 x 9 = 63. Another person might multiply 4
x 7 first then add 3 and 2 giving 3+28+2=33. The results
of performing the operations out of order of operations are
wildly different. Yet another person might add 3 and 4 first,
then multiply by 7 before adding 2 giving 51. If there were no
order of operation, then who has the right math answer?

when solving any math problems.
- Perform the operations inside any groups of brackets
first. If you see a division symbol or a fraction symbol,
do them first. These are the first of the order of
operations.
- Perform exponents or powers such as 7 2
- Do the multiplication and division in order from left
to right
- Do the addition and subtraction in order from left to
right
